"Jean Gritsfeldt entices attendees with his locations. In the past, he‘s shown in a circus and a boxing ring. This season, he‘s opted to present at a closed-down section of the Boryspil International Airport, near Kiev. With that in mind, Gritsfeldt chose to center his collection around a Vetements-type theme and cast his models as if they were airplane passengers.
According to Gritsfeldt, most of the models were street-cast and assumed the roles of characters. There was an aged male hippy in a magpie mash-up of pieces, the standout of which was the cropped semi-floral-print vest. Some of the pieces, like the striped pantsuit, seemed a bit busy and leaned too heavily into the funny theme, but there were some classics, like a sharply cut black leather coat and a floral-print button-up".
